BW BLADES BOARD MEETING

Treasurers Report: MSC Steve/ Kim - Ending balance as of 2/26/07 is 4,436.67
Equipment/Transportation (Kevin/ Scott):
Bus went out for a Jets game made enough for the bus payment
Scott:
-Returning of Coaches equipment and Jersey return will be March 19 through the 30th (last 2 weeks in March.) no Wednesday Nights
- 25-30 pucks short the year
AMENDMENT TO THIS: EQUIPMENT TURN IN WILL BE MARCH 19, 20, 22, 23, 26 & 27.
Public Relations: (Darwin)
Darwin:
-squirt to mite level will have a” Fun Night” with free slushes and Pizza with a free will donation, Dates scheduled in March, Trophies for Fun Night Steve Neppl (coaching Committee) will check, (need 5 trophies for each level.)
-Banquet: Jeff Bass would like to see Bantams and High School Team together
-For a banquet night the # ‘s for the different levels would be: (approx.) PeeWee: 60, Bantams: 50, High School: 60, and 19U Girls 50 Total: 220
Possible to have the Banquet at the Eagles, Darwin will check, the possible dates would be April 2,3,9 or 10th, will check on the menu and price per plate
Public Relations: Cont.
-Elections no names have been provided for the ballot.
Finance: (Jim/Mike)
Mike:
- 2 Sponsors for the Mite Blast Tournament March 9-11,2007 Cargill and Bergers Auto Body
-working on the 19u Girls State Tournament Book
Fund Raising/Concessions: (Kim, Steve, Shawn)
Kim:
-Concessions will be open for the coaches game March 6,2007
-Pizza Corner order will be going in on March 19,2007( Credit will go towards next years fees.)
Coaching (John/Steve N)
Steve:
-Coaching Committee met last week possibly setting up a camp that would include Stick handling and may be ran by Cameron Douglas
-Spring Registration April 1, 2007
AMENDMENT TO THIS: SPRING REGISTRATION WILL BE THE LAST WEEK IN APRIL, 2007.
Old Business:
-Conflict of Interest Policy- No Changes
- Volunteer hours: The following motion was made by Scott: Volunteer hours be 25 hours per family from April 1, 2007 to March 1, 2008. The motion was second by Mike and passed unanimously.
New Business:
-Steve will check with Breckenridge Hockey about getting more money from them
-Looking a putting a pull tab machine in at Casey’s
-Joint powers meeting (Breckenridge Hockey/ Wahpeton Hockey) March 5
