Present: Sacha Spinks, Darwin Bring,Wade Hansey, Kevin Berger, Lori Nelson, Mike Seedorf, Terri Hallquist, Steve Neppl, and Kim Chase

 

Not Present: Steve Breuer, Randy Stach, and Shawn Kessel

 

Secretary Report: MSC Mike/Wade for May 21, 2007

 

Treasurer’s Report: MSC Darwin/Mike Balance 3,125.11

 

Equipment/Transportation: (Kevin/Mike)

Kevin:

-Bus motor needs to be fixed will cost about $5,000.00 +

-The Following Motion was made by Wade:

To repair the bus at Lillegards for $5000.00, The motion was second by Mike and passed unanimously.

 

Mike:

-Did get senior jerseys from Grippers one jersey has the wrong number Gripper will fix this.

-Looking at purchasing more equipment from Grippers to include helmets, breezers, gloves, socks, and goalie equipment. Mike will check on Grippers stock.

-Will not be getting hockey bags for the new equipment

 

Public Relations: (Darwin/Lori)

Darwin:

-Newsletter has not gone out, was waiting to have a contact person for the golf outing schedule for July 26,2007

-Looking for ways to promote the hockey program and get information to the public, would like the rest of the board to bring ideas to the next meeting.

 

Finance: (Shawn/Randy)

-No Report

 

Fundraising/Concessions:(Terri/Steve/Wade/Kim)

Terri:

-Pizza Corner order will be going in again on July 2, 2007

-Saturday, July 21, 2007 is set up to go to Valley City, (30 people, 16 and older) other dates for Valley City is Aug 18, Nov 10

-Fireworks stands are ready to go, insurance is taken care of by Generous Jerry’s in Fargo.

 

 

 

 

-The Fire inspector will be coming to check both the Dakota and Sturdevant stands on Wednesday, June 27 A.M.

-Fireworks stands will be taking credit cards, people working the stands will have to have a cell phone with them to call to Generous Jerry’s for a approval number, that number will be written on the credit card slip.

-There are 64 total slots for workers for the fireworks stands and 51 slots are open, Kevin will call the Bantams, to try and get workers

-No radio ad will be done this year with KBMW

-Ad for the fireworks will be in Generous Jerry’s ad that will go in the local newspapers

-Steve Neppl will check on cost of getting some large signs to place around town.

-Sweatshirts from CI apparel will be coming with the Sioux logo on, 24 sweatshirts were ordered and the bill will come in October. Sweatshirts have the lace front on them.  Can order sweatshirts with the B/W logo on at a later date, if we want.

 

The Following motion was made by Terri:

-To change the firework checkbook signature from Sherri Metcalf to Wade Hansey or Steve Neppl. The motion was second by Kevin and passed unanimously.

 

 

Concessions: (Terri/Kim)

-The slushy machine was cleaned

 

Coaching: (John/Steve)

Steve:

-Received resignation from Joel Johnson (Girls Hockey)

 

Old Business:

-Golf Committee will be meeting to work on Golf outing scheduled for July 26.

-Fireworks working on getting workers to fill empty time slots on the schedule for both stands (Dakota and Sturdevants)

 

 

New Business:

-Events that are not included in the Buy out are fireworks, golf outing, and ice breaker

-Girls Tournament is Dec. 14,15,16, Huron called wanting dates would like to be in our tournament

-Ann Snape will be the scheduler for the 2007-2008 season a meeting will be set up Steve, John Douglas and Ann
