REGISTRATION

 

2008-2009

The BW Blades, a co-op hockey organization, manages the organized youth hockey program for Breckenridge-Wahpeton.  They utilize Stern's Arena and the outdoor facilities for the program.  Telephone 642-2344.  The hockey program is open to ages 4 - High School.

REGISTRATION DATES FOR ALL AGES   

 

SPRING REGISTRATION
TUESDAY April 22, 2008 6:00-9:00 p.m.
THURSDAY April 23, 2008 6:00-9:00 p.m.

                                             

FALL REGISTRATION
  TO BE DETERMINED      
         
         

                                                   
Registration will be at Stern Arena.

Registration information will be distributed to all local schools prior to the fall dates.

Boys and Girls ages 4 through High School.

Equipment will be handed out on the 3 nights in the fall to the mini-mites, mites, & squirts.  (Not jerseys)

A discount on the yearly fees will be given to new players, please indicate this at registration time. Save money, register early, see fee guidlines.

AGE ELIGIBILITY

1. MITE CLASS:   Follow the residency and amateur guidelines from USA Hockey. Born July 1, 1999 through June 30, 2001.

2. SQUIRT CLASS:    Follow the residency and amateur guidelines from USA Hockey. Born July 1, 1997 through June 30, 1999.

3. PEE WEE CLASS:   Follow the residence and amateur guidelines from USA Hockey. Born July 1, 1995 through June 30, 1997.

5. BANTAM CLASS:    Follow the residency and amateur guidelines from USA Hockey. Born July 1, 1993 through June 30, 1995.

6. GIRLS/WOMEN'S 19 & UNDER CLASS:    That no player may be nineteen (19) prior to January 1st of the current season except for a player who has not completed her eighth consecutive semester of high school.

7. HIGH SCHOOL PLAYER ELIGIBILITY:  Junior Gold, Girls/Women's and Bantam players are eligible to be rostered by December 15, even if they have been rostered, dressed or played as a High School JV or Varsity player prior to this date.
