FUNDRAISERS

2008-2009 YEAR

Each family is required to raise $125.00 profit in fundraising.  If you raise over $125.00, the profit will go towards a reduction in next year’s fees.

Every family is expected to do 100% of their fundraising.

If any family chooses to not do fundraisers, $300.00 cash is paid by that family.

CASH DONATIONS that an individual has solicited above and beyond the traditional scope of the BW Blades Fundraising will be credited at 10% of the Donation received.  The maximum credit cannot exceed next season's hockey fees.

REMAINING CREDIT CANNOT BE BANKED OR SHARED.

EACH SEASON STARTS OVER WITH A ZERO BALANCE.

ALL DONATION CREDITS NEED TO BE APPROVED BY THE FINANCE COMMITTEE PRIOR TO SOLICITING.

Fundraisers that quality for profit towards fees are:  Season Tickets, Wreaths, Pizzas, Tastefully Simple, & Calendars.  The buyout does not include Fireworks, Golf Tournament, or Ice Breaker.  We need everyone to volunteer to work to make these fundraisers successful.

The policy for non-payment of late payment of fundraising is the same as the policy on fees.  See “Fee & Fundraising Past Due Policy” in the hockey handbook for further information.

Those who do not wish to get involved with fundraising can pay $300.00 per family (this does not include the fireworks, golf tournament, or ice breaker (formerly the smoker) fundraisers).

PLEASE READ THE BULLETIN BOARD FOR FURTHER UPDATES ON FUNDRAISING!
